Have you ever seen a car parked, silent and still, but somehow it appears like it’s moving, in motion and moving fast? This is how I feel when I look at Takuya-san’s NA6 Miata. I first took note of his car over a year ago. His style is more in line with speed and function. The Jetstream Clubman R Front Lip, Side Skirts, Rear Canards, Turn Signal Intakes, Murakami’s version of the Sebring Vitaloni and Shinkai Ducktail Rear Upper Spoiler evokes a sense of speed while standing still. And the deep dished Work Meister CR01’s flow very well with the overall aesthetics.
Inside, the interior is all business with Esqueleto Type 1 Seats, KG Works Gauge Cluster with RS Products Gauge faces, HVAC Panel and Dials, steering through the touge with a Momo Prototipo while being protected by a Cusco 4 Point Roll Bar. The engine bay is super clean and maintained. His motor is essentially stock with the exception of Maxim Works headers for now. But as we all know, these cars don’t need a ton of power to be fun.
Takuya-san has owned this Miata for over 2 years and continues to modify and drive it regularly with his friends. His future goals are to continue working on the aero, body, paint and to maintain it so he can enjoy the car for years to come.
Now scroll down to see these beautiful shots by his friend Kazu Asano!
